My 10 Skincare And Makeup Favorites From Beautycounter

The links are affiliate links so I make a commission if you click through and end up purchasing, you don’t pay any more and it lets me take a bit more time to help, and a bit more cash to pay back to you – so let me know if you need any help on anything, I’m here to help simplify and keep it more affordable. See my note at the end for what I always give back!

Welcome to my everyday faves! I started using Beautycounter (and taking care of my skin!) about 3 years ago. My skin was dull from a roooough post partum season and was just showing the fact that I’d crossed 30. But as with adding anything to my home I wanted to know:

  • that its ingredients were safer for my body and (at that time) breastfeeding child, but also
  • that the sourcing of ingredients and production of items was taking care of people and planet.
  • that the makeup wasn’t just good for my skin tone but for everyone. I didn’t want to share something useless for some people based on the color of anyone’s skin!

My search for all that in the makeup and skincare world left me overwhelmed until I stumbled on Beautycounter: a B corp creating products mindfully and more safely for people, planet and health but also working in law changing and advocacy so that it’s bringing change for everyone, not just those who can afford it or know to make different choices!

Shopping for the first time? Here are some extras for you: use the code CHANGEBEAUTY10 at checkout for 10% off everything below and see my note and the bottom for another extra I think everyone should have.

Note: You can also get this free by adding their reward perks program Band of Beauty to you cart, which is a no strings attached program like Amazon Prime or Nordstrom rewards and I always pay it back from my affiliate commission for anyone who shops with me – just see the form HERE to get it refunded!

What else can I help with?!

As an affiliate/consultant with Beautycounter I have more space to learn and then help you out as you shop, both with information and questions on ingredients or color matching, but also with giving back monetarily. I love helping in any way I can after I found it overwhelming to make switches, if I can simplify and help any aspect of it I’m here for it!

DAY TO DAY ON INSTAGRAM:

As well as posting on @thewholefooddiary I post on @whole.beauty specifically about Beautycounter and how I use it, tips, ingredietns etc, to help customers and anyone who is looking to shop!

MONTHLY EMAIL:

I send a monthly email with any information I’ve gained that I think might help anyone who’s looking to shop and make sure you can make the best decisions.  Pop your name in HERE if you want to get it!

BAND OF BEAUTY BUY BACK:

This is the Beautycounter equivalent to Amazon Prime or Nordstrom rewards with no strings to it (you can never shop again after you buy it) but she free shipping and freebies when you add it to your cart. I always pay it back for anyone who adds it with an order over $100 as something I get to do. So I always recommend adding Band of Beauty HERE if you want it – then you’ll get an email with a link to get the $29 reimbursed from me.
